So many people wonder why they can’t handle obstacles or setbacks. I’ll tell you why. The second you start to learn how to roll with the punches when it comes to the little stuff, you start to grow stronger as a person. Don’t get so upset about the weather - you’ve got years left to enjoy every single kind. Don’t complain about it on social media, that’s such a waste of time. Learn to accept it, or better yet, just roll with it. Don’t give it a second thought - say this is what today brings and I’m just going to go with it. Don’t let the actions or especially thoughts of others bother you so much. Yeah, your cousin’s friend’s brother can’t shut his mouth, or your little sister’s friend is a gossiper. Do these things directly affect you? Probably not, so why are you letting all of those little things shed a negative light on the world around you. So you ran out of milk for your cereal, don’t let it ruin your day. Put the cereal back and make yourself dinner for breakfast. The second you learn to be a little more optimistic, the second you learn to be flexible and not be so affected by the little stuff, you will find happiness and strength in yourself that you didn’t even know existed.

Once you do that, the hard stuff will come so much easier. The big tough decisions won’t be so tough anymore. Major problems become easily-tackled obstacles. I promise.

Learn to be content, waste less time being so negative.
